‘Customers seem to be at the heart of a key number of policy interventions announced by DfT today in the command paper, “Green Light for Better Buses”,’ says the Chair of ATCO,Tracy Jessop.
‘The emphasis on increased collaboration between councils and operators with the introduction of Better Bus Areas will reward the partners who are brave and bold enough to take a step change in the delivery of bus services. If we want 21st century public transport then traffic management and investment in infrastructure must be targeted to achieve this.’
